The winter solstice marks the start of winter, the day when it is officially darker for more hours than it is light. As a knitter this means cosying down with my favourite project and enjoying the moment. It often means a new cast on too, a larger project to see me through the winter.
This beautiful variegated yarn has pops of mauve, purple and ice blue within the dark blue/grey base. Hat shown in the example is the Wavey legs hat by Jodi Brown on Ravelry.
All yarns are dyed in by hand in small batches, therefore no toe skeins are the same. Whilst every effort has been made to set and rinse the dye thoroughly some bleeding ms occur on the first wash especially with heavily saturated colourways.
my home is smoke and pet free, hand washing recommended.
